Hey, I’m Sreyas K Brown of BA IGADD, and in this course, Creative Sequence 1 – Media Aesthetics and Visual Semiotics, I will be discussing the selected game, the role of semiotics, and how signs, colors, symbols, and visuals support game design. I’ll also explain how semiotics improve clarity and player experience, ending with a clear conclusion on their importance.
2D interactive Game
This is my work for Chandhru sir’s interactive game module, where I developed a 2D game based on social awareness. The project focuses on creating meaningful interaction while educating players about important real-life issues. Through simple mechanics and engaging visuals, the game aims to deliver a clear and impactful message.

The coin
Hi, I’m Sreyas K Brown, and I’ve created a 2D game based on the social awareness theme ‘Watch Your Surroundings.’ This game focuses on teaching players to stay alert and be mindful of their environment. Through simple movement and engaging challenges, the gameplay reflects the importance of awareness and careful observation in real-life situations.

Watch Your Surroundings
My game is based on the theme ‘Watch Your Surroundings.’ In this layout, the player jumps from box to box while avoiding dangerous spikes and edges. Falling off or touching spikes results in death. The goal is to carefully observe the environment and reach the coin by staying fully aware.

THE MECHANICS
The player jumps between boxes, avoids spikes, and stays within the layout. Precise movement and awareness are key. Touching spikes or falling kills the player, while collecting the coin completes the objective.
